The receipts, in order
Below is the sequence of events with the dated emails that document them. Read the narrative on My Experience; this page is the evidence.
"Watch these videos before the call"
JP emails me to watch his YouTube videos before the meeting "so we do not waste any time." I confirm and thank him.
"Do you currently have an AI Agency?"
A qualifying question. The next morning I send a webinar so he knows exactly who he's dealing with, and explain what my agency does.
"How many customers? What market? What is MRR?"
More qualifying questions, which I answer.
The terms: leverage — or "you pay me to build an agency just like mine"
JP says he's "only interested in partnering with people who offer substantial leverage I do not currently have" — connections, money to invest, a personal brand, or an existing agency — otherwise it's a paid arrangement.
I lay out my leverage and confirm I prepared
I tell him: 3,000+ live clients, eight years in the Vendasta marketplace, a live demo ready that day — and that I'd spent hours watching his videos. I believed he'd see I was a partner worth having.
Removed from the call — and a website that never loaded
I join on time; another client is in the room and I'm removed — the link won't let me back in. (The StartGrowSell.ai website had been returning a 403 the whole time — I'd never once seen it load.) I email twice, including about the 403. I get no meaningful response.
Screenshots, in chronological order
These are unedited screenshots from my email client. Read them top to bottom.
These screenshots are reproduced from my own email correspondence. They are shared as a good-faith record of my experience. Names and email addresses shown are those the parties used in business correspondence with me.
