The marketing is sharp. There's a YouTube channel, "proven systems," and the usual income-style framing. Before any call, you're asked to watch his videos so you "know exactly what we'll be discussing." That part is fine on its own — lots of legitimate people screen for serious prospects. What started to bother me was how one-directional it all was: hours of his content as the price of entry, before I'd seen anything verifiable from his side.
The thing that stuck with me
Throughout our dealings, every single time I went to the StartGrowSell.ai website the root domain returned a 403 Forbidden error — I never once saw it load. I emailed him about it. As of writing this, the bare domain still doesn't load normally for me, though there's a separate storefront on a subdomain that does. I'm not going to tell you what that means — I'll just say that for a business selling you on building your online presence, a front door that won't open is a fair thing to notice.
For a company selling AI agency systems, I expected the basics to work. The homepage didn't load for me.
My take
Based on my own dealings, I'd go in cautious. Get specifics in writing, ask for clients you can actually verify, and don't let prep-homework or urgency rush you.
